Makers come in all shapes and sizes and while although we share a love for all things chicken wire, we feel like Jen Woodhouse is the Johanna Gaines of the woodworking/DIY world. She breaks DIY projects down into very doable steps and even emails you the plans for building! To me, the thought of using a saw or any sort of heavy duty power tool is pretty intimidating but she makes it seem easy.
Some of our favorite projects that caught our eye is the nightstand with a hidden charging station and an adorable kids playhouse (complete with planter boxes)! Most nightstands these days are so expensive but with the free plans, all you need to buy is the wood! And having an adorable playhouse for your children to make memories in is really a priceless project worth doing.
