DIY: Chicken Wire Mason Jar Candle Holder

Spring is here and with it garden parties and al fresco dinners on the patio. This chicken wire mason jar candle holder is the perfect spring decor piece and it's super easy to make! These would also look great for a wedding or bridal/baby shower decor!

Supplies Needed:

  • Mason Jar

  • Silver Wire for the handle

  • Tea light candle

  • Green Moss

  • Hot glue gun

  • Wire cutters

  • Needle nose plier

Step 1:

Wrap the mason jar in the chicken wire and cut away excess wire.

Step 2:

Fold down excess wire around the lip of the jar and fold excess wires underneath the jar using a needle nose plier.

Step 3:

Thread the craft wire through the top of the chicken wire to create the hanger.

Step 4:

Curl the wire on the right side of the handle underneath the chicken wire to secure

Step 5:

With your hot glue gun, glue fake green moss to the rim of the mason jar to create a spring time look. We got this moss from Micheals but most craft stores will have them.

Step 6:

Chicken wire mason jar tea light is complete! This also makes a great centerpiece at Easter if you wanted to make several of them for the table.
